The "Music Man" was definitely one of ALT Academy's larger mountains to climb in a short amount of time. Total cast: "76" to be exact. Due to the show schedule within ALT, the cast rehearsed for most of the Music Man in the academy class room. Two weeks before the show started, they moved over to the mainstage to work out the kinks in the blocking and working with the set. Definitely a tough hill to climb. To be honest, we were all sweating the night of tech rehearsal.

But the sweating was only an indicator of great anticipation - the show turned out fabulous!

Karen Walsh did her usual amazing theatre magic in set design and painting. Jason Crispin and Brandon Bellar pulled long hours getting the cast fully polished. Jason not only directed the show but also choreographed all the dancing. Brandon somehow shaped the cast into singing some of the most complicated musical parts they have tackled yet. And of course, the assistants, Tatiana Panovich and Wendy Weatherly followed them like shadows filling in the pockets of organization. Last but not least, Gregg Dunlap and Tana Roberson provided excellent technical directing. Truly a wonderful team effort all around.
