Eleisha Miller is a vibrant, energetic 9 year-old girl from Amarillo, Texas.  Originally born in San Antonio, she considers herself a Texan through and through.  From an early age (1 year) Eleisha has been singing and making up songs. By age 4 (2004), she started playing the piano and taking Suzuki piano lessons. By age 6 (2006), she started sight reading music and has progressed quickly, learning piano theory, timing, and personal discipline in practice.  Since her mother is a classical pianist and piano teacher and her father plays piano and guitar by ear...when it comes to music, she doesn't get away with much.  She loves music with a passion and sings, dances, and plays on stage with the musical rhythm that beats within her.  Over the years Eleisha has discovered that one of her strengths is the ability to pick up music quickly.  Often she will read music from the book, put it down, and sing with clarity and remarkable memory.  More than once she's surprised an audience at a "cold-reading" musical audition by tossing the book down on the stage and singing her part perfectly. Like any kid, she bounces back and learns from mistakes, listens to instruction, and presses on like the world is her stage.

To facilitate practices and local shows, Eleisha began homeschooling at age 7 (2nd grade).  Although she enjoys all of her subjects her favorite subject is History.  Eleisha’s busy schedule outside of shows typically includes vocal lessons, 3 acting/coaching classes, and various dance classes (not to mention piano lessons).  Her theater accomplishments just in the past 2 years include musical productions she has been in:  A Christmas Carol (Anderson Kid), Seussical the Musical (principal character Jo Jo), Annie (Molly), and The Music Man (Ensemble).  She has also appeared in 2 plays:  The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Gladys Herdman) and The Little Princess (Student). Whether the audience is large or small Eleisha feels “at home” on the stage.  Eleisha made her TV debut on a local station at age 6 when she won the chance to appear as a weather forecaster on a “Kids Cast” program.  It was at this point she knew she truly loves to entertain and make people laugh. Her insatiable desire to search out the next level led her to auditions in Houston, Texas for a national TV show. Eleisha later appeared on NBC's America's Got Talent season 4 (summer 2009) and placed in the top 40 performing live in Hollywood (Google..."Eleisha Miller").

As Eleisha enters the fourth grade this year she reflects on what she wants to be.  For now she wants to sing, dance and act.  Her dream is to be like Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus (which happens to be her favorite pop-star).  When asked what she wants to be when she is “grown-up” she tells everyone she wants to be in the Air Force, a doctor and mostly an astronaut doctor to which she has coined the term “doctornaut”.  She also thinks it would be fun to be an archeologist and dig up treasures and mysterious things.  For Eleisha, the sky is the limit (or perhaps it is the universe). For now her greatest ambition is to be a great entertainer in her own show.
